Are you a small business starting out? Do you need to make the right impression on your clients without making the wrong impression on your bank manager? Then come and talk to us about your stationery needs. We can design it from scratch for you, or work with your own design. Unlike some other suppliers, we are also very flexible on minimum order quantities, so you won’t risk being lumbered with out-of-date stationery.
Our experienced designers can offer you advice on what works on different printing processes – occasionally what doesn’t. Some designs that look good on the computer screen are either impossible to produce (or punitively expensive) simply due to the physical limitations of print.
Business cards
Almost always, this is your first opportunity to influence your client, and many marketing gurus suggest this is where you should focus your resources, if you need to make a choice.
Standard UK (and most European) business card size is 85mm by 55mm, but we can produce cards to any bespoke size, single or double-sided. Perhaps you want to show more information about your products or services than can comfortably fit on the back of a standard card? We can produce folding cards that work as “mini-brochures” and have the added advantage of standing upright on your client’s desk!
Finishing
For that special touch of class, or perhaps because you expect the cards to be handled in a wet environment, we can laminate or encapsulate cards with either a matt or glossy finish.
Cards can also be round-cornered, and we can accommodate designs where not all corners are rounded.
Letterheads
In the days of email, it is easy to forget those occasions where a letter on a professionally designed letterhead can add that essential weight and credibility to your message:
- Bidding for a new contract
- Dealing with banks
- etc.
We can produce letterheads on a variety of different paper types to suit your budget and design.
Compliment Slips
Often an afterthought, compliment slips are usually found to be more useful than letterheads. Where a formal letter is not warranted, a short hand-written note on a compliment slip still adds a professional touch when posting invoices, payments etc.
Flyers
The second most popular item after business cards, flyers are almost throw-away items that business generally dispense in large number. This makes it essential for them to be cost-effective, yet retain and enhance the professional image that you are striving to project.
The variations are almost endless – single-sided post-cards, A5, tri-fold, gate-fold – the choice is dictated mostly by your budget and the amount of information you with to include in the publication.
Brochures
Brochures are much more in-depth descriptions of your business, and because they are more expensive to produce, are usually distributed in much smaller number than flyers.
Perhaps you need a club newsletter? The same processes used for printing and binding a brochure are ideal for newsletters. Lola Print produce regular newsletters for organisations like the Hants & Berks Motor Club.
