Wire Binding

Wire binding is an extremely cost efficient way of providing a professional and durable method of binding. At Lola Print Services, we have the capacity to deal with large quantities of books for binding. Likewise, no quantity is too small. Telephone, fax or email for an immediate quotation. Transparent acetate covers and card backs can be supplied for that professional finish.

One of the big advantages of wire binding is the ability to open the book completely flat and even fold the book back upon itself. This provides ease of reading (especially technical manuals) where ‘lay flat' characteristics are essential. Music manuscripts etc. also benefit from this feature. Photocopying (where copyright allows) becomes simple.

We carry large stocks of binding wire in many sizes and colours. We can bind up to 270 sheets of 80 gsm paper. Just send in your loose paper collated into book blocks and we will turn these loose sheets into professionally bound documents. We also do collation.

Coil Binding

Plastic coil binding is a style that is ideal for documents that must lie open flat. The main advantage of plastic coil binding is that the book can be folded in half. This binding is similar to wire binding except it's made of more durable plastic. Several colours are available to co-ordinate with your choice of cover and give a modern feel.

We can punch automatically A4 and A5 documents on our JBI AlphaDoc ®, capable of more than 40,000 sheets and hour.

Ring Binding

Ideal for handouts at a course or business event, large numbers of sheets can be assembled, with the ability to remove/insert individual sheets as required.

Perfect Binding

With perfect binding, the pages and cover are held together by a flexible adhesive which keeps its strength and resiliency for a long period of time.

Unibinding

The Unibind binding system is a quick, simple and inexpensive way of binding A4 documents, up to 340 sheets. Bindings incorporate binding spine and acetate covers into a single, neat and impressive finished document, in just a matter of minutes.
